Ewa Krcz is a Polish woman in her twenties who was taken from Auschwitz and put into the care of foster parents at the end of the Second World War. With the help of staff from Auschwitz Museum, she sets out to find who her real parents were. Their sole point of reference is that going on the basis of the number A 5116 tattooed on her arm, the girl was actually deported from Hungary. The film follows her meetings with several Hungarian families who believe she might be their lost loved one. László Nádasy’s film was the first Hungarian documentary to deal with the subject of the Holocaust that until then had been taboo for decades.

This contemporary circus production conceived by artistic director Bence Vági recalls classic fairy tales with a story of how the mistress of the Crystal World loses her faith in human emotions and decides to freeze everything and seclude herself behind glittering walls of ice.
