Miles Davis, one of the most recognisable figures in jazz history, would have celebrated his hundredth birthday in 2026. To mark the occasion, a star trumpet player in the world of contemporary jazz, Ambrose Akinmusire, has come together with the Brussels Jazz Orchestra to embark on a joint tour, honour the giant of the genre, pay tribute to his legacy, and go beyond it by creating new works and inventive arrangements that reimagine the Miles Davis’s genius in the context of modern jazz.

Two vastly different yet mutually enriching musical universes meet on the Müpa stage this evening: Söndörgő, one of Hungary’s most exciting representatives of Balkan and South Slavic musical traditions, and the world-renowned Balanescu Quartet, which masterfully combines contemporary classical music with boundary-defying creative improvisation.

From Joseph Haydn, we will hear the Symphony No. 87 in A major, the Notturno No. 5 in C major, the “Clock” symphony and the Violin Concerto No. 4 in G major.

Fülbemászó zenék, véget nem érő mulatság, vidám baráti társaságok, meghitt fények és kiváló borok. A Bárest a Cziffra Fesztivál egyik, ha nem a legkülönlegesebb programja, mely a korabeli lokálok zenei tehetségekkel teli világát idézi meg, melynek egykor Cziffra György maga is a részese volt.

A Dalszerelőműhely 2021 őszén kezdte működését az ISON-ban. Az első négy évad során Billie Eilish, Janelle Monáe, Eminem, Adele, Shawn Mendes, Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, a Carson Coma, Krúbi, Taylor Swift, Måneskin, SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Pogány Induló, Beton.Hofi, Ariana Grande, Kendrick Lamar, a Lady Gaga–Bruno Mars duó és Beyoncé egy-egy dalát vizsgáltuk. A cél az, hogy megértsük, mi történik a zene „belsejében”: mit csinál egy-egy dalban a kardántengely, a karburátor és a gyújtógyertya, vagyis olyan kérdésekre keressük a választ, hogy miként kapcsolódik egymáshoz szöveg és zene, mitől lesz izgalmas (vagy éppen kevésbé izgalmas) egy dallam, hogyan áll össze a hangzás és a harmóniavilág. A foglalkozásokon való részvételnek nem feltétele a zenei előképzettség, két nyitott fülön kívül más segédeszközre nem lesz szükség.

Djabe & Steve Hackett: Freya Winter Shows 2026

A 2025-ös nagysikerű nyári Freya bemutatók után 2026. februárban ismét láthatja a közönség a koncertet Magyarországon, ezúttal Győrben.
A koncert programjában az újdonságok mellett, klasszikusnak számító Genesis, Steve Hackett és Djabe dalok is elhangoznak majd.
