A Győri Filharmonikus Zenekar bérleti hangversenyének programjában zenetörténeti különlegességek csendülnek fel: először a szovjet-orosz zene Sosztakovics és Prokofjev mellett sokak szerint legjelentősebb alkotója, Mieczysław Weinberg 1966–67-ben komponált, fanyar humorú B-dúr trombitaversenyét játssza a rövid idő alatt világkarriert befutott kiváló fiatal trombitaművésznő, Selina Ott. A koncert második félidejében Anton Bruckner születésének 200. évfordulója előtt tisztelegve az osztrák mester eredetileg 1873-ben készült, Richard Wagnernek ajánlott 3. (d-moll) szimfóniája csendül fel, amely számos szakértő véleménye szerint megnyitja a nagy Bruckner-művek sorát. A szimfóniának – megannyi más Bruckner-műhöz hasonlóan – több verziója ismert: ezúttal az utolsó, 1889-es változatot hallhatja a közönség a világszerte ismert kiváló osztrák karmester, Martin Sieghart dirigálásával.
