A Dohány utcai zsinagóga vagy Nagy Zsinagóga a neológ zsidóság nagy zsinagógája Budapesten, a Dohány utcában. Európa legnagyobb zsinagógája. Az egykori zsidónegyedben áll, ahol ma is sok zsidó vallású ember él, akik a hagyományokat még mindig őrzik. A zsinagóga rendszeresen helyszíne a Zsidó Nyári Fesztiválnak.

02.11.2025. Dohany Street Synagogue opening hours will be the following:

Sunday - Thursday: 10:00 am - 4:00 p.m
Entry and cash register closing: 3:00 p.m

Friday: 10:00 am - 2:00 p.m
Entry and cash register closing: 1:00 p.m

The Site closed on Saturdays.

That 18th January 2026 Dohany Street Synagogue’s opening hours will ne the following:

11.00.am-04.00.pm.
Ticket office and entrance open till 03.00.pm.

We would like to inform our dear visitors to be mindful of their attire when visiting the synagogue!
Short skirts (above the knee), sleeveless tops and shorts (above the knee) are not allowed in the synagogue!

It will be possible to buy an additional garment (cape) if the visitor does not have one, which costs 500 HUF on the spot.
