Hogyan válik egy tizennyolc éves, szerelemről ábrándozó fiatal lány, Lebstück Mária az 1848-as szabadságharc honvédhuszár főhadnagyává? Mi történik, ha ennek a fiatal lánynak kalandos életútjához csodálatos zenét, gyönyörű dalokat, fergeteges és vérpezsdítő táncokat és sok-sok humort keverünk, és ha mindezt áthatja az 1848- as forradalom mámora, hite és energiája?
