Márton Simon is one of the most exciting and creative authors in contemporary Hungarian literature, a pivotal member of its middle generation of writers. The slammer, performer and poet has followed his own path from the very beginning and now can boast thousands of followers and readers. The four volumes he has published so far have deservedly met with tremendous success, and it is no coincidence that they have sold unusually well by today's standards for books of poetry. He has been publishing his verses since 2004 and performing regularly at poetry slam events for ten years. He has also released an experimental spoken word album and completed a master's course in Japanese studies. Expect an intense, fast-paced and exciting evening full of surprises.
