The city of Vienna is on the road to moral decay. The underworld is flourishing, brothels are proliferating, corruption and prostitution are rampant... There are strict laws, but they are neither applied nor enforced. The ruler, powerless, decides to give power to a man of pure morals and noble soul to restore the moral order. Shakespeare's last, not at all light-hearted comedy, with great political games, mad desires, buffoons and lots and lots of love.

Az előadás elkezdődött és egyszer csak Kiss Manyi hangja töltötte be a teret: „Jaj de jó a habos sütemény…” Ugye, hogy ismerős? A szavakkal együtt rögtön bekúszik a dallam is. Eisemann darabja nem egy klasszikus operett, nincs hatalmas énekkara és tánckara. Amije viszont van, az a fülbemászó dallam és a magával ragadó történet Bán Sándor tenoristáról és az őt bálványozó bakfisokról.
